Frequently asked questions
How do I know which motor oil is right for my car?
Check the owner's manual first — it lists the viscosity grade (like 5W-30) and the minimum API category (like SN or SP). If the manual isn't available, our team can confirm the right Torque grade from your vehicle's make, model, year, and mileage.
What do the numbers in a grade like 5W-30 mean?
The number before the W (winter) describes how the oil flows when cold — lower is thinner at start-up. The second number describes viscosity at operating temperature. In the Gulf climate the second number matters most for sustained heat.
What is the difference between API SN and API SP?
They are API performance categories for petrol engine oils; SP is the newer category and includes additional protections required by recent engines. A newer category can generally be used where an older one is specified, not the reverse.

What should I do when my check-engine light comes on?
Have the vehicle scanned as soon as practical — the light can indicate anything from a loose fuel cap to an engine fault. If it flashes, stop driving and have the vehicle checked immediately.
